Reason it's 17-4 is because I was not feeling heat, kept playing till I was ahead often.

Now, I am moving to a city with perhaps 3 playable casinos where I am rated and want to limit travel, extract $800 a week from those 3 casinos. I would still travel once a month for 2-4 days. The question is how long and what strategies (besides rat holing) to use to keep from getting booted or measures taken while playing rated (since it's too late to undo it).

    1. Play ultimate X and pull your card out between hands when the multipliers are very high.
    2. Play without card for the beginning of the session, then give card if you lost.
    3. Take chips to the bathroom, return with fewer.
    4. I've heard that Gold Coast can be fooled by just cashing out chips and buying in again, for the purposes of comps and mailers.
    5. Get in the habit of telling the pit how much chips people enter/leave with, until they trust you, then start reporting your own totals incorrectly.

    1. Dont even know what ultimate X is, dont play nothin except BJ.
    2. They no longer ask me for a card, they know me and my name.
    3. Do it some times.
    4. Dont play in Las Vegas much.
    5. Good idea.

Tat's a great way to get tossed, especially at CET. Most UX machines will still record a multiplier hand as part of your session if you reinsert your card the next hand.

So you are saying if someone vultures multiplier hands without a card, the next person who plays on that machine with a card would have the vulture play recorded?

No. What I'm saying is if Joe Mama has a UX session in progress, then one hand is played without a card, and Joe Mama reinserts his card and continues playing the same machine, the "anon" hand will be attributed to Joe Mama. If someone else comes along, it's a new session.

If someone is only vulturing, why would they want to use a card? THey are only wracking up +EV play on the card, which will draw attention if most sessions are wins.

Be aware that in some casinos, particularly in Vegas (Rio, for one), the EITS keeps an eye on UX machines and will have vultures tossed. Stupid? Yes, but that's casino mentality.

Agree that's stupid, someone will get the multipliers regardless -- don't know what the casino perceives they are losing.

I may have got heat at a strip joint for setting down at a juicy progressive slot, hitting the bottom jackpot in one spin, and walking away. Most shops don't seem to care though, and that would be comparable to vulturing UX. UX tracking continuity is probably a proprietary Caesar's thing, because I've seen it work for loss rebates at other shops with the same brand of machines.
