Thread: Great game

    Great game

Found a great game and I'm wondering if someone can help me with win-rates as can't find this on my simulator
These are the rules: ENHC, 6d, doa, das, nrsa, S17 and es.

I want to stress that es includes es against ace. This casino even allowed you to take es AND insurance.

There was no heat - for a lot of time game wasn't even watched - and the two dealers I had both cut off only one deck.
Only drawbacks with this game were a slow dealer, slow civilians and a maximum bet of just 100 (minimum was 2).
As you have a small off- the-top advantage I'm thinking a spread something like this:
    < 0.5 bet 5
    0 10 x 10
    1 30 x 30
    2 60 x 60
    3 80 x 80
    4 100 x 100

For the final round before the cut card comes out will go to three hands of 100 if the count is +4 or higher.

I would be grateful if anyone could advise how much I should be winning under this scheme. Also is this the best way of approaching the game?

Did I read that right....off the top advantage?

Why not just flat bet the max and use index plays? Or perhaps cut the bet in half in negative counts?

because of the liberal rule set you have a substantial advantage over the TC 1 bin so you are probably better off flat betting table max most of the time, wonging out (and probably just leaving the casino to make it look natural) at TC -1 or -2. all depends on your bankroll of course. your proposed betting schedule is not really that good because in my experience these ppl are actually pretty sharp about counting and will probably get u backed off.

Caveat: Surveillance ["The Eye in the Sky"] will instruct the floor
person to vacate your table when doing a "skills check" on you.

Try to remember: "There is no heat until there is."

If you play OnLY when you have the edge. You won't be playing at all.

Thanks for all the responses to my question regarding how to approach the great game.

I can understand folk say just flat bet 100 as there is a small advantage off-the-top and with no spread there is no danger of being barred. But betting this way would require a huge bank.
I prefer to stick to Kelly betting and in a game with regular rules my bet with a 1% advantage would be 60 x 60. So in this game with early surrender, I believe it should be 60 x 60 at a true count of +2 (using Hi-Lo). Betting this way in this great game, I believe I should make around 80 per 100 hands/rounds.

Back counters only play when they have an edge. They don't last long. The casinos have zero tolerance if you don't at least play some disadvantage rounds. Even a very bad counter back counting is a threat. The same is true with any similar advantage situation.
