[QUOTE=CanadaKevinB;221775][QUOTE=terry0222;221764]I said I was done with this thread. But I guess I lied about that. quote from terry!

Hmmmm!! I guess your moral compass doesn't work all the time. Lol [quote from Kevin ]

Regrettably, it doesn't always work. But I think it's worthwhile to continually evaluate ourselves.

I said earlier I'm older than dirt. I figure when I'm IN the dirt I can stop the process of self-evaluation. Lol

Don't worry about it Terry. You have strong morals and that is an admirable trait. If you played as a pro with no other source of income I bet things would get less black and white over time. I sometimes point out dealer errors but that is if the Floor is hawking so i can get honesty points in his mind. I figure there are high odds that he will notice the mistake and fix it anyway. Here's one those with blurrier moral lines might try. when the dealer asks for the money back when he pays you on a loss just give the payment back without the bet. almost half the time it will work. A portion of that time you can tell the dealer knows he should get back twice as much but figures both the dealer and player will benefit by not pressing the issue.

It is my experience that casino rarely call to get it back if the dealers don't catch it. I have had dealers that were screwing up on procedures the entire shift. Like when you surrender they take half your bet from the circle and give t back to you and leave the other half in the circle. Of course when you go back they have figured out the issue and fixed the dealer but even though you got thousands in dealer errors and they mist know it, they don't ask for it back. The dealer didn't get fired. It isn't like a slot machine were a malfunction voids your play.

There will never be enough dealer errors to offset the number of times the casinos cheated me or stopped my play. AP play is not conducive to a friendly environment. All seasoned players KNOW this fact and whether or not they are willing to admit it, is another story.

Friendly might not be a good word for the environment. Polite is probably better. Until the axe falls things should be at least polite and professional.

I can see were slash and burn players would have a totally different outlook on casinos based on their experience when compared to longevity players. I tend to consider myself pushing the envelope of the latter.

Believe me I have seen all of the above. I have had 6 dealer changes in one shoe. Dealers that only deal one hand before being tapped out. I even had them screw the timing up and had a dealer not even deal a hand or burn a card because someone bought in for more chips.
