How to find a good mentor?

I was gonna learn Hi-Lo but before I even start with count I want to instinctively play BS. I'm not quit there still making errors.

What I could really use for advice is the software I should purchase so When I practice its efficient.

Professional Blackjack by Stanford Wong. Pay particular attention to the tables starting around page 250. Also, just google Blackjack basic strategy - there will be lots of info. Keep in mind that basic may differ on different rule sets.

Casino Verite to practice, available through qfit software.

I like the basic strategy charts from the Wizard of Odds website. He has them labeled by how many decks and the various rules so you can memorise the one(s) you need.

Casino verite has a free version that will correct your basic strategy so you'll know when you make mistakes. The paid version corrects your counting and basic strategy.

This is a step in the right direction. We are playing for a small edge. So small that without a solid foundation, counting will devour your BR. Casino Verite software is the way to go. Also make sure to pick up CVCX or CVData to sim and fine tune your game. Welcome to the board. I'm new to the AP journey as well, so feel free to PM me for any "startup advice".

Hey guys been busy reading and studying. I was wondering is there a website or someplace that you can search for BJ games in your area? Looking for something to tell me what BJ games the casinos or in my case river boats offer. Thanks
