How Do Casinos Handle Player's Cards for Promotions

Lets assume that a casino is having a very good promotion. Something like a 2:1 blackjack promotion or a promotion where the player has a 10% advantage. Lets assume the promotion is so good that there is no need to vary your bet. The plan is just to flat bet the table max. However, to play the promotion you need a players card. Lets also assume you have never been at this casino before so you go get a players card. However, you are listed in a national data base. Will the casino check all players cards in the promotion against the data base?

Once you start playing the promotion there will be no suspicion because you won't be varying your bets. Do you have anything to worry about?

If you've never been 86'd or trespassed at the subject casino, I don't see a problem but not otherwise. This observation is borne of my own personal experiences.

I agree with Jabberwocky: I recently made a visit to a tribal casino, got a player's card, and played a promotion with no problems, despite being listed in various national databases.

Generally true there won’t be a problem but there’s certain properties where having your name run through scanner/players card system with a databased name will automatically flag before any play, I’d guess it’s less than 5 percent of properties nationwide. TI and SLS in LV among them. My understanding is this makes their internal property databases somewhat less secure based on heresay idk much about that. At one property I have hit a slot jackpot playing unrated, and within 5 minutes of giving ID to get paid table games shift manager came over to my slot machine and backed me off of all table games. My complete previous table games history at that property was wonging maybe two shoes three years before, never had any backoffs at any affiliated properties that come to mind.
