    6:5 Virus

Anyone else's local shops contracted the 6:5 virus? It was rather unsettling pulling out my cash as the dealer announced "sir, just letting you know all tables outside of high limit areas now pay 6:5 for blackjack." Didn't even get my money out before the wallet went back in. Went to my second shop- no more $25 DD. One $50 and the rest $100 mins. I decide to make a run at some 6-deckers and low and behold, 6:5. If this spreads, it'll be a tough choice to risk the BR at a much higher RoR in order to sit at a playable game, or walk away from the game.

Is there some oddball reason that you are not
identifying the casinos, or at least the region ?

After visiting the new MGM in D.C. I was astonished to find that not only were the games 6:5, but that almost all of them had CSM with 50 MIN! Amazing really. I did find a shoe game in the high limit area with a minimum of no less than 75.

I was at a Caesars property yesterday, and walking through some 6 deck (closed) sections and noticed one 6:5er in the middle of all 3:2s. Exact felt, design, and placement as the 3:2s. I guess they have slipped some in for the busier times to go mostly unnoticed.

Its also sad to see that if you were to walk into Bally's in AC, most of the main floor tables are 6;5 H17 NLS NRSA DA DAS Yuck. We wont even talk about the pen. Technically caesars I suppose.
