    California player banked games

I've heard that in California, the house does not bank the games, but instead the players do. Usually the player that banks the game is a representative from some organization, but I guess regular players also sometimes have opportunities to bank the game and "be the dealer". Since the cardroom itself makes money from the collections fees (50 cents per hand or whatever), the house has little interest in the outcome of the game. Does this mean an AP will not get backed off in CA? I guess the banker rep person is not a cardroom employee and therefore, does not actually have authority to kick you out. On the other hand, if you want to try to profit from banking the games, is the a way to do that for long enough periods of time to make it worthwhile?

observe and calculate it yourself as if it worthwhile. I do not mean to respond to ZMF's post but in general nobody want competitors, that include the banker in casino. If you figure out how to profit from it would you share the idea to public?

corporations and the card room are not supposed to have a financial interest in each other, but it is clear that there are corporations banking each others rooms, perhaps through third parties to make it appear legit. There are numerous cases of players being 86'd from card rooms simply for banking, particularly at the large one in LA. At many other's the player banking fees are set high enough where there's not really anything left beyond the HE (you will be charged more to player bank than the corporation pays many places.)

if if you find the games themselves beatable, the corporation banker can and will instruct the dealer to countermeasure, or go to card room management and have them instruct the dealer to countermeasure.

If you want to profit from the card rooms, you must apply to be a third party proposition player with the state of California. From there, you will find a third party prop company that will provide you a bankroll and an easy salary.

For BJ AP: It is a wasteland. Might as well get beaten up at one of the Indian Joints. At least you have a fighting chance there.

For those who think I am pulling your leg, here is the licensing info to be a third-party prop business and/or player:

EDIT: I should also warn everyone that any attempt at banking will be treated with great hostility! The corporations do NOT want some peasant picking from their orchards of idiot players playing a 2-4% house edge game! There seems to be some sort of racket between the casino management and the corps. You have been forewarned! Watch Your Step!
