    Laughlin NV

Hi all. Next few weeks I have plan a 1 week trip to Laughlin NV. This will be 1st time I ever be there. Please advice what to do, see beside gambling. Also if you do not want to reveal your honey pot would you still tell me which casino is waste of time. Generally how BJ there compare to Las Vegas?
Any and all inputs are greatly appreciated.

My one night stay in Laughlin was by accident VS design. That being said, really nothing to do in Laughlin except gamble and ogle geriatrics of the opposite gender-or whatever floats your boat.

That being said, bj conditions are really shitty, without elaborating, a sharp operator can make some money there.

If self pleasuring is on your agenda, try the Edgewater. Rooms are cheap. and shower heads, adjustable as to direction, are cleverly mounted at dick level.

If you aren't 70+ years old, you won't fit in.

They likely have only seen green action from APs.

I vaguely remember something about "dick level shower heads", would have been at either Colorado Belle or Aquarius.

Since it's right across the river from Bullhead, AZ, the time on your phone is likely to alternate between time zones. I remember showing up to IHOP at 11:55 (they closed at 12), thinking it was 10:55, wondering why it was completely cleaned up and ready to close.

    Laughlin is a dump.

It is a dump, but I think on
My next vegas trip, ol fly in on a Friday, take the shuttle to the offsite fox car rental on begs south side, rent a car and drive straight to Laughlin. Cheap rooms, regardless of night, decent money if u do it right, then come back to vegas for easy Sunday Monday comps.

For the old ladies, I'll strut down the runway, gyrate with a limp, and watch the dollar bills fill up my belt buckle. Jury is out as to Wearing a thong or not.

Despite the nostalgia of dick level shower heads, think I'll find something somewhat more suitable and cleaner than the edgewatet.

I played dd at Aquarius and parlayed 125 to 250 on my last hand. Thought the critter was going to stroke out.

Laughlin is fun. There's a river you can float in or rent stuff to play in it. They give rooms away for very little play. I suggest staying at Harrah's in either the South or Central Tower. The North Tower is full of children. The shower heads are higher at Harrah's and the rooms seem nicer from the descriptions I've heard about the casino's down the hill.

Blackjack mostly sucks. Scouting can make it more bearable. It used to be a sea of 6:5, and still kinda is, but 3:2 seems to be somewhat on the return. The rules are not good. None of the casinos offer DAS. The SD may be playable, but they're double 9-11 only. I even saw a 6D shoe with double 9-11 only, bleh! Pen generally isn't that good anywhere. Some places have it set by a notch, but most are dealer dependent. They're used to river rats betting near table minimum. If you start stacking up green, especially if you're young enough to still work, you'll stick out like a sore thumb.

I goto Laughlin somewhat often. It's a tank or two of gas away, so I don't have to generate much EV to pay for the trip. I go there to relax and hang out. If I tried to generate enough EV to make a decent profit, then I don't think I would last very long.

Thanks for all ideas. Fenix, you sound like the heat is terrible or at least the counters should have antennas up all the time.

A friend of mine found the best game ever, in Laughlin. It was called Avia, a native casino, we were there a few months after it first opened. They had a $2000 single deck, and rookie dealers, and a manager that used to be a dealer in AC, I think right before she was named manager for Avia. Three days no heat, last day Cashell (management team) came all the way from Reno to see why the wheels were falling off. Now 17 years later, I think the limit is $200. Just shows that you can find games where you least expect, so keep your eyes open there for weak dealers.

I've ran into a little heat, but not that much. If my bets look like I belong and I don't pitch a tent they don't care. Laughlan doesn't seem like a place that can handle a lot of action.

I haven't been to Avi. It's a bit out of the way and didn't seem much different on cbjn from the rest of Laughlin. I love finding dealers that allow DAS, give good pen, say "checks play" really quietly, or deal an extra round in a good count <3 they can make sucky games not so sucky. Maybe I'll pop over and see if Avi still has some gems.

Check it out, lots of lower class dealers in Laughlin, the ones you find in small towns. These type of casinos usually hire whoever applies, and usually keeps dealers, even if they a useless. Lots of older dealers that have picked up bad habits. But as many of you posted, hard to bet much money, but it can be done. If you count don't expect to last long.

Avi is a worthless dump; don't bother.
