    bet stabilization in CVCX

Suppose I wait to raise my bet until the count is +3 or +4, and then keep betting the same until the count drops back down to +1. So the bet sizes are best described by a FSM rather than a table. There's no one to one mapping from count to bet size. Can CVCX sim this? I wrote my own very basic sim that showed you could reduce bet change frequency by 80%+ at the cost of a quarter of the score.

Similar type sims can sim similar to this. What you're describing Is a form of opposition betting, which, if done right, can be very rewarding. It can also be costly if done incorrectly. The gambit requires a strongish bankroll. Understand that you are no longer betting, proportionate to the count.

This is one if those strategies that can help you beat the sims. Research Dynamic betting, which is essentially switching back and forth between different betting ramps in the same shoe. In fact, provided you hit the right vein, consuder increasing your bet as you head into negative territory.

CVData can do this (as well as dynamic betting). But, it's generally not a great move to keep switching between one and two hands (which is not to say I don't do it for cover).

Just to clarify, I'm stating that I'm switching ramps on the 1 hand, not switching between 1 & 2 hands - but I do that too.
