    Devastation with the shufflers

I was just wondering I'm in Missouri we have Shuffle Masters . Not been to a lot of casinos around the country do a lot of use on here have to play Shuffle Masters our Shuffler's as we do here. Seems the shufflers you get a super high count they Clump the big cards terrible. I played into one the other night I should have known better to let the count reverse you kill me

No, you are just experiencing some negative variance and also probably making some errors.

As someone said, it's probably variance but I believe the shuffle master ASM's can be programmed and while they probably not turn that feature on all the time, if a table is losing too much or a suspected counter is playing heads up, they can switch on to a programmed shuffle.

I may be paranoid but I often switch from one hand to two hands and back often when I feel the possibility, hoping to confuse.

I have played in Missouri many times without any thought that I had been cheated.

I'm sure there's some errors. It's like no one can win at Ameristar Casino they're high-limit room Harley has any players anymore because of the shufflers clumping

There's no multimillion-dollar casinos going to risk their license for a few hands a blackjack. I know some guys on here think they've been cheated I'm not one of them I just think they're shufflers is set to Clump the cards a lot. And I'm not the only one thinks this

    That would be cheating.

This is also my strong belief because nowadays all casinos I play use ASM but I only feel this way in some particular casinos.

Sorry to turn your thread yellow because Norm think this is Voodoo.

I've been counter-measured and backed off from further play (for refusing to show ID) from Ameristar (St Louis & KC) more times than I care to count. I imagine if they were "card clumping" or cheating in any form, they probably would have just allowed me to play unmolested.

Out of sheer coincidence though, I believe I'm a life-time loser at Ameristar St. Louis. Majority of my life-time losses though are the result of a couple sessions that went horribly "wrong." AKA: Extreme Negative Variance. But that obviously wouldn't deter me playing there anymore. I just don't anymore (or regularly anyway) because it only takes the pit (or EITS) a few min to identify me, so it just isn't worth the hassle most of the time.
