    Blackjack for Blood Update

The 3rd edition of Bryce's book has a publish date of next week. But, it is already available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. If you get the book, make sure it's the 2017 edition.

As soon as I had mastered Basic Strategy and Hi-Lo over at the Blackjack Apprenticeship site, I came here, and discovered the existence of a wide variety of counting systems while perusing the online version of Norm's Modern Blackjack book. I first discovered Bryce Carlson's AO II with ASC. I picked up a copy, and devoured it in the course of one weekend. His system served me well (with customized index counts from Norm's software), until eventually my mind wandered, as I am prone to do, and went on to study and utilize a variety of other counting systems and tactics at the tables.

Perhaps either Norm, or Bryce if he is visiting this website, might elaborate on the changes from his earlier (1992 and 2010) editions to this newly printed 2017 third edition.

Thanks for the question, Frank. As Norm says, the latest (Third) edition of Blackjack For Blood has been released and is now shipping. This new edition has been updated with a complete rewrite of the chapter on computer simulations and analysis, with a focus on the Casino Vérité suite of programs. This is the primary change, but the text has also been tightened somewhat and brought up to date throughout. Bryce Carlson

I guess you writers take turns re-printing, what every 5 years? Norm, when did you draw your card to update your book?

One of the stronger level 2 balanced counts when combined with the requisite Ace side count. Would definitely recommend customizing index tables using CV software.

Oh, I don't know..........I was thinking you could make a "killing" with a combined BJ book (with better charts for the hard copy........LOL) and a MUSIC Anthology with comments (Classic Rock version)

Yeah, the music is what I just posted on the Stuff forum. Are we not brothers in arms?
