A thread like this has value and points out some of the nonsense that exists out there in the world to the people that read this forum. Perhaps reading a few threads like this will mean less people getting horribly misled. Maybe casino operators can read this and drool all over themselves thinking how if this guy is training card counters, then maybe those card counters aren't so bad after all, send 'em on in!Hahaha I know they are shaking in their boots with fear over the possibility of one of those roulette people using the super secret double cross method kicking their ass for $25,000 a year, that's for sure.

There is never a lack of fools whose greed is easily tapped.

All forms of gambling are contaminated by hucksters and con artists.
This has been the case for centuries, but the internet gives these
miscreants extreme free advertising via you_tube, etc.

I was watching some of the Michael M videos. I guess I felt like punishing myself. I wonder if he can form a 4-word thought without 2 of those words being f***. The shuffle tracking video was good for some laughs. Not that I can shuffle track, but he claims he's tracking ALL the cards and no mention of memory techniques.

Russel Hunter's material makes rounds here very often (usually in the other free forum).

It's a shame that some of the older videos have been completely replaced but here are some fun points you might be able to see even in the newer ones:
-Bad/inaccurate dealing procedures & hitting before seeing your second card
-System using game theory when blackjack is clearly a game in the game theory usage (the dealer has a fixed strategy)
-Fuzzy logic. While a real field, has absolutely no application to blackjack
-The Hungarian trap: forces the dealer to bet when he's at his weakest
-Take a look a the books. They have a different front cover on each side and if you read the side binding it clearly is two pieces of cardboard taped to a random book!

The person who has become a recent hot topic of conversation on this forum (HINT: former prison inmate) released a video several minutes ago indicating that BS deviations are a scam and that people should never, ever deviate from BS.

And he claims that the "MIT guys" developed basic strategy. Read a freaking book!

That's hilarious. I was counting before the MIT teams existed.

Just watched part of that video.... that video proves that he has a fundamental lack of understanding of the math of BJ, and the true information the AP gets from the count. He also said in this video that when the dealer has a 5 card 21, it's during a high count. WHAT.

The place to make introductions and ask about peoples level of expertise is not the thread of an unrelated topic.

    Welcome anyhow.

Post a new thread in the main forum (General Blackjack Forum). I am not a moderator.
