    Back counting

If I back count, do the rounds that I back count count as rounds played or is it only hands that I place bets on count as rounds played?

For example, if I back counted 70 hands and actually betted 30 hands when TC +1, how many rounds did I play?

You posted an irrelevant and moot question.
The foremost issue is hands played per hr.
Likely between 12 and 25 hands per hour.
That is ~ before you are 86'd and trespassed.

Can't the hands I didn't play during back count be considered hands played with a bet of 0?

If you are trying to figure out your theoretical hourly, then yes. Hands seen are part of your N0 and other measures.

If you're asking for other purposes, the answer might still vary.

That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks!
