    Advice Needed: Player's Card

I have a quandary. I am searching for suggestions as to the solution.

I want to use a Player's card at an (out-of-state) casino sister property

from where I am barred - in a state that keeps its own Surveillance Network.

I am NOT in O.S.N. (under the name in question) but this pertains to a local

store that is important to me. Thus far, I haven't used a player's card; but I am

looking for a way to SAFELY check to see if my name is muddied without risking

my 'outing' myself. Any help will be very much appreciated.

It still may out you but you can get someone else to use your card and see what the reaction is. Like a ploppy friend (probably doesn't care if they react) that looks similar enough to get their blood going. The trouble is if there is a reaction they now have your photo from what flagged your name. Unless you look quite different from the photo in the database you may be causing your own problems.

JG had a nice blog on the subject - this might be helpful: http://www.gamblingwithanedge.com/i-...soned-what-now

Thanx. I will take a look.

I took a look, and there was some good reading there,

but it didn't assist me in my situation.

Well you can prove crotchety at times, so why not hire a ZMF stand-in imposter, say Larry David or Bernie Sanders? Those two gents can get into it with the best of them (like you ZMF).

    Just sayin'.

I am trying to find a way to
    unearth my status
(at any of the Corp.'s stores).
    WITHOUT presenting my I.D.
    Risk is the issue.
    Therein lies the rub !
    There must be a way.

Maybe get a different ID to use there? A new one wont be in their system. Otherwise unless you know someone on the inside there who can check, I'm not sure how to find out.

Once I looked at my player profile on the poker room computer when the floorman walked off. He pulled me up then had to make change on the other side of the room. I saw no red flags attached to my name.

I unfortunately don't see any way possible other than having a confederate on the inside be able to tell you... your best bet is a floor supervisor you can trust. Possibly a poker supervisor... and best would be a dual-rate dealer that you can toke heavy, build a relationship with them and then when they are on the floor you can ask them to check for you. Dual-rate dealer = dealer/floor supervisor btw.

I DO have one option. I can travel (about 7 hrs. each way) to a sister property
in another state; and attempt to play BJ at the lowest minimums. If there I am
permitted to play, my problem is solved. IF not, I have my answer, however unwanted.

Send me a PM. I might be able to help. I tried messaging you, but I couldn't get through for some reason.

If you want you can send me the PM and I will Email it to ZMF. If ZMF approval is required by you let us know and he will make a post saying so. Most likely he is not a subscriber at this time. I am sure ZMF would be OK with this but I did not check with him.
