I was only there for a half hour or so, so I don't think I can say for sure if there was any clumping or not. I was just checking the games out trying to get a feel for how much heat there is going to be.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense. It belongs in the vodoo section.
So based on your theories Mgm will program their machines to not clump on the bad 6 to 5 games but to clump on the 3 to2 good games.
    Ya that sounds logical.

MGM will say their 6/5 tables are full, but they will never know how many $25 blackjack players who will only play 3/2 walked out the door unwilling to play those 6/5 games.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/business...224-story.html. Article on Maryland 6:5 blackjack I helped contribute to. Same BS "we are offering a wider variety of products to appeal to more gamblers."

You made a mistake when explaining soft hands. You needed to add that for a hand to be a soft hand that the ace which can be counted as 1 or 11 is counted as an 11 so if hitting a card caused your total to be more than 21 counting the ace as 11, it could then be counted as a 1 so you don't bust. The way you put it all hands containing an ace are soft hands. If a hand of 17 contains an ace counted as a 1 it is a hard hand. If it contains and ace counted as 11 for the 17 total it is a soft hand.

Went for the first time last Friday night. Tables are pricey ($25 min for 3:2) but decent rules (S17, DAS). They wanted to raise the table min to $50, so I left (in Vegas, they'd usually "grandfather" you in at the min when you sat down).

Given the table mins for the other games ($25 craps, etc.), I foresee this casino being profitable, at least for now.

The opening date keeps changing and is now fall of 2018. That's as close as they'll say.

MGM left Foxwoods in April 2014. Even though it was 3 years ago, I'll bet they have the customer data base. That would be a good start.
