    Thoughts On Sidebet's Heat Level

How long can you get away with a sidebet spread of $0 to table max with a 1/2 table max at TC-2 and table max at TC-3 (similar to in the main game).

Thinking of sacrificing my main game ($10 to $150 spread) on a 4.25/6 deck PEN but table maxing the side bet.

Exoter175 - to generate $200/Hr you need to be spreading heavy blacks on the main game with such a weak pen. $10 to 2 x $500 is quite obvious no? The side game, my partner and I found out is worth far more than $200/Hr. Trying to extract from this as long as possible. Sacrifice the main with a weak spread or none. And play the side. Makes sense no?

Zenmadterflash - you seem to have this sense of superiority or notion that I'm ridiculous. I'm sorry if I dont play the game you would. I'm trying to reach the highest EV possible. $50/hr is not worth my time when I could do so much more. For instance. This side is worth at least $300/hr.

So let me ask you this. What is so absurd about this?

A side bet that is worth $200 an hour? I find myself deeply skeptical.

As someone who has posted about 160 times throughout the last two years only with silly questions and barely any statements about what i've achieved, actually all stories regarding myself usually has revolved around bankroll blowups and nothing worthy of brags or lies. Why would I create a thread now to just lie. Doesn't fit my profile whatsoever.

And obviously. I'm not going to point it out just to prove that it exists. Game will get killed within weeks and opportunity gone. That'd be silly of me.

I ask again, I waited 2 years to lie for this thread / post? Doesn't fit my profile.

    -----------

I would also imagine that my mentioning of $10 to 3 x $450 for a year non stop. Some weeks, 5 days each would be more skeptical. That a casino would tolerate it for so long. And yes. I did recently just get the tap a couple weeks ago.

OP, I'm really not even sure what you're asking.

But if I understand the question correctly, you should not be talking about it like this in a public forum, where someone could read it and know your "tell."

You're asking about being detected... in a place where the people who could detect you are reading.

I guess then I need to remind myself that I am in a part of the country with garbage side games. I know side bets can be beat, but $200 an hour? I never would have thought that it would be that much.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one having a hard time figuring out what he was asking.

I've been all over this year, haven't found a "good" Sidebet until recently in the south, even then, pretty standard side not really worth tracking.

I'd say it depends on the property, like most things regarding AP. And what the max bet actually is on the side bet. Probably can't do $10 main bets with $500 side bets, for instance. Also depends how strong the game is and how quickly you'll be winning and realizing your advantage. If it's something as "strong" as regular counting (ie: which is very weak, and mostly theoretical until you get to many hours of play), then you'll probably be better off.

Talking about side bets, in the Midwest, it's a lot of the poker bets, paying 9-1. Lucky Z Ladies is another and tie's get you a win in dome places. In LV they had multiple ones in one side bet, with 6,7,8 paying tons and totals On 19,20, 21 paying 2-1, etc.

where is a site that might help? I don't play sidebets but allow others to play on mine and it's been beneficial because I get the bet amount ($1 to whatever) they place if they win.
