There is nothing to be gained engaging them when you are backed off. This is the most insidious of impacts to an AP that is worse than bad variance. It takes away your ability to play!
My procedure is put chips in pocket, do not color up or cash out, do not respond, simply walk briskly to the nearest exit and leave the PROPERTY. Do not go to car if it is on their property! If you go to your car, then it will also be in the databases.
If you played rated then you can easily be looked up in Biometrica, OSN, Griffin, etc. If not then it is difficult for them to find you in these data bases without facial recognition. Those with facial recognition will find you walking through the casino. If you are in Biloxi, Las Vegas or some others likely venues then they will flyer you to all their friends.
Being backed off may only be an impact at one store or it may cause you a problem at many. This is why I continue to counsel that playing rated is a huge negative EV. By using comps you are accepting a tremendous discount on the future value of your play in their casino. The certainty equivalency of the gain from comps is far offset by the loss of future ev at one, and perhaps, multiple stores. I see so many "lone wolf" players feel "comfortable" that they have good cover all the way up to the point that they have no cover and now no ability to play. The loss of their income stream for the price of a buffet! (you get my point)
BTW, if you think they didn't get a picture of you then you are naive.
The only exception I know to this issue is if you are playing their "rewards" systems using slots/video games, etc.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
