    Pitch games on the strip

Headed to vegas for a quick stop with some friends, one of whom really prefers pitch games for no good reason. What big casinos offer this at 3:2, and at what minimums? The only one I am certain of is Palazzo at $50/hand, beyond that I don't recall seeing pitch games on the strip.

    Any MGM properties?

Most of the strip casinos offer 25$ or 50$ 3:2 DD pitch games. Sometimes they'll lower the 50$ tables to 25$ if you ask. Sadly most of them are H17, NDAS, and not great pen.

Have a fun trip with your friends! ^_^

Double Deck Games on the strip:

    Take a look at: http://wizardofvegas.com/guides/blackjack-survey/

Click on column headers to sort.

Sort by number of decks and note the House Edge Column results.

Games are closely guarded, so if youre in OSN or Griffin prepare for a quick back off. Luxor, MGM, NYNY, and Mandalay Bay offer a good $25 3:2 DA2 H17 game. Bellagio is a $50 during the day and $100 at night, and it's S17, But closely watched.

Basically all the casinos except Caesars properties offer fair 3:2 pitch games with liberal rules.

The only casino I have found that doesn't actively care about databases is Venetian/Palazzo but their game kind of sucks now that they made it only 60% pen at best.

Whatever you do stay AWAY from Wynn/Encore. They added me to OSN for a 1-4 spread on their shitty 60% DD.

IIRC, Mandalay Bay's DD was a hand-dealt face-up game. Not a shoe and not a pitch. I mention this because you said your friend likes pitch games, so this may be a negative for him, as some people like to feel the cards and not have them exposed or something stupid.

Ahhh yes this is true. A lot of MGM properties while offering the best game, will not let you hold the cards. I had forgotten about this.

Can't emphasize the "closely watched" part enough. A single Saturday night in January, wathced three different guys get backed off for suspicion of counting within probably 3 hours. Don't know if they were related, or in a team, or whatever. Saw it happen, decided it wasn't going to be my place to play that night. Great rooms though!

In 11/2015, yes, not sure in 2016.

STAY AWAY FROM ALL M-LIFE DD games! They don't care what your bet spread is. If they suspect counting, they will back you off or flat bet you.

Suggest that you work the East side of the strip DD games. They're not great, but certainly better than any other options on the strip. Keep a polite spread, don't play too long, don't play by yourself (higher scrutiny) and you should be ok...and drink a beer or two while you play...If you can't do that and keep the count, then don't play DD on the strip...

Not all M-life DD games are created equal. Some folks have issues playing, some don't. There is not a "one-size-fit-all" approach for Vegas DD. I've played both Total Rewards & M-life DD games multiple times without problems.

You'll find better value at off-strip properties, so weigh what is most important to you, with or without your friends, etc.

This is true about M-Life, they had (rumored it was changed) a really solid game in the Gulf that, for all accounts, had a relatively low heat level by comparison to surrounding properties. I was there and watched it, but decided not to sit down personally.

Also, Omaha, are you from around the region? I feel like we've ran into eachother this year in that town, is that at all possible?

No, but I make it out to Vegas a few times every year. It's possible we've run into each other, but I don't recall? I didn't see an option to PM you -- shoot me an e-mail -- my username at gmail.

The problem with the CET games is no double after split, even in HL. Also downtown does not necessarily offer the best games. 9/6 JoB can be found at cosmopolitan in HL. Probably one of the last places in the world to offer it
