    Single Deck Blackjack Index

    The rules :-

    1) Single deck
    2) Double on first 2 card Hard 9,10,11
    3) S17
    4) No Peek
    5) Split ONLY once to form 2 hands
    6) Multiple card to split aces
    7) No Surrender
    8) No double after split
    9) Cards shuffle after 5 rounds( one player only )

    The house edge = 0.13%

Anyone can help to generate the index(in running count if possible) base on Hi Low counting system ?

    OR

Should I use a more efficient counting system such as Hi-Opt 1 ?

    Cheers

    James

A three to one spread using Hi-Opt I will be slightly profitable.

So will a two to one spread with Hi-Opt II (with side counts of Aces and Sevens)

Hi-Opt I without any Side Counts, other than Aces, is a poor choice of count to employ.

Table A3 in Professional Blackjack (Stanford Wong) has the S17 single deck indices but for true counts, not running counts. Using Hilo in running count mode will reduce it's effectiveness.

If you want to use a running count, learn KO or REKO.

Grosjean (Exhibit CAA) did an analysis of hilo in running count mode, but it was for 6 deck.

If you want you own custom indices, purchase CV data and generate your own.

    Hi,

Can you help me to generate Uston APC indices for the above-said single deck blackjack. I am more interested on playing efficiency.

    Cheers

Aren't the indices found in "Million Dollar Blackjack" ?

    In any case for single deck, Hi-Opt II / ASC is best;

although Advanced Omega II is equally powerful.
