    Tournament Crash Course

I received a free entry into a tourny in a few weeks. While my blackjack AP knowledge and play is expanding 10 fold, tournament play is a new horizon. I am familiar with blackjacktournaments.com forums, but as you all know, forums are all over the place and time is short here. Does anyone have a book recommendation that focuses on start to finish tourny play? From what I'm gathering so far, counting isn't much of an advantage. Bet high starting out. Position is very important however not often left to the players choice. And knowledge of my opponents chip stacks is probably the most important thing to keep track of. Just wondering if anyone had a tournament basics book they could recommend.

Different tournaments require different approaches, depending on the format, rules and conditions.
