    Barred, maybe trespassed

Long time lurker, first time poster. I was recently barred from a large Midwest Indian casino after being backed off twice in the last three months. Both backoffs came when surveillance saw I was exploiting the Over/Under 13 side bet and told me I could no longer play it. I continued to play it pretty obviously, testing the limits of my session lengths, winnings, lack of cover, etc., and paid the price. But the terms of the barring leave room for interpretation.

I was not read the trespass act. But I was told that if I returned, I would be arrested for trespassing. Is there a difference? Will I be able to return safely? I worry that if I return, they could legally detain me until the cops come to arrest me. I want to milk this game, as it's the best in my area for my bankroll, but I've read that my rights are limited on reservations and trespasses are serious.

I can provide more details about the barring or my play if necessary.

Laws don't apply at Indian casinos. They can do whatever they want with impunity. If it were me, I would not return.

You are not trespassed, they need to serve you for that in order to put you behind bars.

I recommend you stay away and just admit you made a very bad EV move, and just accept that.

That Tribe has no reputation for outlandish behavior that I know of.

I don't see any ambiguity there. Don't go back unless you're prepared to spend the weekend in jail.

Welcome to the club,it was worth it for me, I never got barred but backed off a couple times and got out after heat at least a half dozen times afterward. I would stay away at this point, the risk reward cannot be worth it. I'd look east of the state border. Did they minimum bet you or flat out ask you not to play previously?

On the first backoff, the shift manager told me I was banned from playing Over/Under but welcome to play blackjack. On the second one, a pit boss told me the same thing, referencing the first backoff, which they had on file (although I play unrated). Both the first backoff and the barring came after big winning sessions (up 60-70 units in <3 hrs), and I'm up about 500 units total in five months of playing O/U part-time. A decent consolation, I guess.

I started counting last spring and would like to continue it long-term. Any chance I can return to this casino in a year or more? In the meantime, I'll look into expanding my game and finding other casinos.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

Can you? Of course. You can do anything you want. I can't justify the risk reward but that is your call. Fyi grave shift boss, who was the source of my problems, is now day shift boss, where I had previously seen a lazy and complacent attitude from floor on that shift. I almost s'd my p's when I saw him when I was back home over holidays. Swing boss, that old pile of bones is easy to see coming from a mile away. Dude literally followed me out the door once, but the semi attractive pit ladies on swing are pretty sharp.

No FRS (I think). If the conditions are that lucrative, change your appearance drastically. Doesn't need to be a gender change if creative enough.
I've never done anything like that but again, if the incentive is great enough, why not?

For me, chancing arrest is totally unacceptable.

Give them 4-6 months and you ll be fine. mystic will kick people out that are super obvious but they forget you. Continue to play unrated, keep sessions short and move around. Avoid OU13 and the DD going forward. Also, it's highly unlikely you would be arrested if you returned. Empty threats
