    You think youre unlucky?

Try going on a 200+ hour 24k 45 max bet losing streak in your first year after years of studying and learning the craft. Really? It had to have been in the first year? Of course it did. But guess what? I lost another 2k at Harrahs again LOL. So funny. Its almost laughable. What is that now? -20k at 1 store in 100 hours betting 2x50 -2x250 wonging in with occasional off the top 1x25? LOL. 40 max bets in 100 hours? Maybe it wasn't even100, probably 50-75, which makes it even more laughable. Yeah they definitely have an honest game over there Someone go ahead and spit out that standard deviation for that and let me know. Outside the bell curve? LOL That's what it truly means to be unlucky. Small sample size yes, but doesn't take away from how cursed I am.

That 25k profit I had in the first 200 hrs is all but wiped out leaving me with $800 LOL. 450 hours of work and $800 lmaoo

Bankroll is now at a measley 25k. Just look at the last 4 months ive had besides blackjack. Right when i quit my job i start losing but then recovered. Then my stock I was invested in, I end up losing 5k after being up 20k for 95% of the time through 3 years. Then I hit a massive losing streak in blackjack. I should easily have around 75k right now, but what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Any other normal person on earth with the amount of work I've put into everything in life would have 100k by now.

There must be crazy good plans for me in life if this is how Ive been treated. Too funny. Its not even so much about the losing, but you got to love the timing of everything. It happens at the worst possible times in all scenarios hahahh

I understand you're tilting out of your mind and frustrated with the downswing, I mean who wouldn't. But a lot of people don't have a "measley 25K risk capital" to begin with. A lot of people don't flip a 100K in a year. A lot of people are worried a lot more than their hourly rates.

I think it's fair to complain and vent. But to label yourself in such a manner is unfair to those less fortunate. Heck it's even insulting to a guy with a $3K BJ non-replenishable bankroll playing $5 limits struggling to build upwards.

The difference is, I worked my a$$ off with multiple jobs, etc and put a lot of things on hold in life, so it's actually insulting to me for you to assume that 25k came easy or something or that it just dropped on my head. Most people that dont have at least 25k are of no fault but to themselves for the decisions they made in life. With the decisions I've made i should have at least 75k-100k. Ive made all the right decisions and came up short, that's what is frustrating. The timing of everything really gets at me as well.

I audit it everyday myself on verite. Not one mistake. Every index departure is perfect. Keeping the count is perfect. Deck ezstimation down to 1/4 but mostly like 1/2 off everytime, which shouldnt affect results too much either way. This is just one of those streaks i guess.

Freighman, have you ever had a similar experience with losing? How long has it gone for and how much did you lose? I know we both use halves and full indices. Well im pretty close to full indices, i know everything from -1 to +10, which is all I really need for my style of play and the games i play.

I don't know why Harrah Chester continues to be a problem for you. I played last week I lost $200 but was overall ahead during two days of play there. Then I played again yesterday and won. What is your session length? Were you betting the Lucky Ladies side bet?

Harrah Chester just changed their eight deck discard trays to six deck discard trays on some of their Blackjack table. Now some tables are hand shuffle and no longer Automatic Shuffler. But Automatic Shufflers still exists on some tables.

I am just curious when you are betting big have the dealer ever made a mistake and paid you by accident when you lose or push?

Yes, harrahs is the casino that makes the most errors that i have seen in my time playing. Yesterday i also got paid on a push 20 unfortunately with just a minimum bet. Even with all these errors, i still cant beat them LOL. Just too funny. I almost never play LL as i dont need any more variance when growing my roll. I tend to not win at that bet ever anyway.

I play about 5-6 hour sessions on avg there. By the way I was there yesterday as well. Im the guy with the backwards black bulls hat that stands behinds tables. Yes i've outed myself and guess what? I DONT GIVE A FKUC.

I guess it's back to working a regular job. Im back at a 25k bankroll, basically where I started last july and playing blackjack with 25k just isnt worth it to me with all the travel, etc. So yea, I basically just wasted a year of my life that I will never get back just to experience up 25k and down 24k LOL. Some life huh? If I ever return to playing, im probably just going back to hilo, i dont see the need of level 2 and 3 anymore. KJ was right and those who ran him off this site are idiots.

Have you try refining your betting strategy? I would suggest that you play bankroll defense with your current bankroll right now until you recover.

Get someone to audit your game. Verite results are not casino results.

My longest winning streak was 16 months, don't recall the amount. Biggest losing streak was 60 k over 3 months. Biggest win over comparable 3 months about 84k (think that was part of the 16 month streak). Style is play all.

I don't yet use a more advanced counts like Wong Halves and not having problems like what you describing. To be a successful blackjack player you should know by now it doesn't matter what count you use. At home I've been doing a lot of computer work and simulation on these advance counts.
