Anyone want to interpret this blackjack dream?
Or just read it for fun?
Normally I do not remember my dreams after rousing from my slumber. But I seemed to remember vivid details about a recent one.
Imagine most of the members of this forum on their way to some sort of attack on the casinos. I guess maybe we were all going to crowd every table at every place possible and take the casinos down. However, this fact disappeared quickly and it became apparent in my dream that we had another event to attend first, and this was meant to be the highlight of my dream.
We all were on our way to a sort of “Comic Con” of card counting. Most of the truly knowledgeable here were going. I do remember though that for some strange reason, ZMF and bigplayer did not go. We were going to meet Freightman there, and Norm and Don were going to be some sort of judges in some event involving blackjack that we were all going to compete in there. We were all going in vans. Van after van after van following the other. Tthree, Bodarc, jabberwocky, Stealth, Frank Galvin, and many others were all going. My mind told me that pretty much anybody in the forum that knew anything about anything would be there. In fact, it seemed more important in my mind who was NOT going rather than who was, but I didn’t know why.
As for me, I had my rightful place in the dream. In real life I am very knowledgeable as a blackjack player and my records are great. But there are of course those that have more experience and/or knowledge than I. I spend more time reading comments on the forum than posting, because as a general rule, you tend to learn less when talking and more when listening. I was this way in the dream as well.
My role was to drive one of the vans. I remember feeling that I didn’t really want to drive the van, but had to for some reason. Tthree happened to be riding shotgun. He made pleasant conversation with me (like on the forum). And I listened intently while he gracefully answered my questions with his typical patience (like on the forum). He was himself in the dream as I know him.
As we got closer to the event, the road became a dirt road and stayed that way until we arrived. We all got out and went inside and met in a room. While in there, it was the first time that I noticed how we were all dressed. ALL of us were wearing khakis with nice polo shirts. We looked as preppy as can be. Some of us even did that Ivy League looking thing where you have a sweater, but instead of wearing it, you put it on your back and wrap the long sleeves around your chest. My God, we ALL looked like that. We were all young too, like college age. Our common attire made us all pretty much look alike. Our hair was all perfectly parted.
Then Freightman walked in. He was dressed the same as the rest of us, but it was widely understood that he was by far the best-looking guy there. Everybody knew beyond doubt that he was the one that was going to get the girls there and nobody else would dare approach any with him because they knew that the girls would go for him. 
I guess we were waiting for Freightman because Tthree then got up to speak. It was then that I noticed his specific appearance. He somehow had a look of nerd and good-looking at the exact same time. It was if he had an absolute perfect 50/50 look of these two traits. He then spoke. I don’t remember what he said, but each time he spoke he was always super interesting in a way that others found surprising. It was as if normally, the words that he was speaking would be boring being spoken by anybody else. But his information came across as a combination of spiritual, intellectual, and interesting all at the same time. He was basically preparing us for what we were about to compete in (whatever that was), when suddenly….
My dog came in and barked and woke me up, as he does when I sleep-in too much. I really wanted to finish the dream because I was wanting to know what we were about to do. I never got to find out what it was, but it was something to do with blackjack.
So, anybody have any interpretations, seriously or just for fun? Given that it was all guys in the dream and no girls (except for those that Freightman would be hitting on later which I never saw), I am a little scared of the Freudian stuff that you are going to throw my way. Lol….
