Wild cards- the book. Is it worth reading?

I came across a book called "Wild Cards: Ayear counting cards with a professional Blackjack player, a priest and a $30,000 Bankroll." By Phillip Reed.

    Anyone read it?

I believe there was a thread about it on this site. The general consensus was that the book was full of many mistakes.

The author gives ample evidence that he has
taken liberties with the truth throughout the book.

You might want to listen to the 12/1/15 podcast on richardmunchkin.com. There is an interview with the author.

The guys were being very courteous to the author. (understatement)
Reading the book displays more than ample evidence that the
author is a ploppy who took considerable liberties with the truth,
and created an expert/teacher "out of whole cloth", eventually
crediting his wins to an on-line huckster's "therapy"

Yes they were but you realize it was written more as a story than a how to manual.
