Does CVDATA Support index generation for 10, A?

I am looking to generation indices when you split 10,10 vs 5 and 6 then you receive an Ace making the hand 10,A but I could find how generate indices for that hand in CVDATA. Does CVDATA actually support index generation for that hand?

I don't think so. Do you think there exists such an index that matters?

Maybe that index will increase SCORE.

This isn't even a "pig vs. hog" scenario. This is a "hog vs. an unbelievably fat hog" situation. Leave it alone

Have written these many times. For Hi-Lo, multi-deck:

Starting with 2: 14, 12, 10, 8, 8. Would I do it? Hell, I don't even split tens, so doubling A, 10, you'd have to be a lunatic. But, would it be fun to split tens to four hands vs. 6, get four aces, and then double all four hands? I suppose -- so long as you never care about playing the joint again.

There is an index for it but not likely until +9 or +10 High-Low. Good luck ever getting that True Count in a modern blackjack game. You'll only get that count on a deeply dealt single or double deck game and the first time you split 10's with a max bet and then double on a soft 21 your playing days at the casino are over with. I was playing with a partner at a casino in Shreveport and he split 10's three times and caught two 20's, a 19, and a soft 21 which he doubled and the dealer busted and he won $5000 on that one hand. The very next time he tried to play he was 86'd from the casino.

My guess is that you gain EV from the play but your SCORE will go down. (the increase in variance is greater than the increase in expectation).

I am looking to generate the 10, A vs 5 and 6 for other count system not only Hi-lo that is why I ask if CVDATA support it. Hi-lo is not the only count.

I don't understand wasting valuable time looking for 1/100th of a percent increase in bj when there are so many other things to look for and study.

You can easily covert the High-Low index to another the rough index for count. For example if you use Zen and the HL Index is +8 then you can just multiply by 1.8 to get a TC of +15. If the index calls for +15. I still think if you do this your SCORE will likely go down, but you can experiment, try running a few sims for your system and plug in index numbers for this play and run a sim for each play while manually changing the index up or down by one notch after each. See which one has the highest SCORE. It's only one index, that should be easy enough to do.

I've learned not to question some peoples OCD issues. Some people get to wondering and just can't get the question out of their head.

Good point. I just want to prefect my game in blackjack but it is good to study other games as well.

I'm waiting for T3 to pipe in with his calculation of N0 on this index for it to be positive expectation. As to the difference in standing on A10 (after split) v. doubling it. Talk about an esoteric question. Perhaps there is a reason that combination is not even listed in Professional Blackjack's appendices? =(
