REKO question for Norm

Norm,

In REKO you have hitting 12 vs 4 for RC less than 22 (using IRC=0) but the CVDATA generated index have you hitting 12 vs 4 on RC less than 14. Does it mean that regular REKO indicate hitting more often than you should?

REKO uses compromise indices. That is, it compromises accuracy for simplicity. All indices are +2, which are not quite accurate. BUT, since all indices are the same, you can have more indices since they don't require memorizing additional numbers. That brings back overall accuracy.

Congratulations ferenc! Likewise, I made some nice money in Vegas during a weeklong trip I just took there. Just using REKO plus a little bit of early bet ramping using the methods outlined in Color of Blackjack.

It's crazy. I think I can really do this.

Question for Norm:

I like your REKO system and you are one of the Blackjack experts here. How do you improve REKO beyond Color of Blackjack and playing full indices? Further improving the system's accuracy, lowering ROR(Risk of Ruin) and SCORE. I've tried true counting the system using the color of blackjack method and employing full indices. Following the betting strategy in CVCX. But I am looking to go beyond those improvements?

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of CoB. I greatly respect the effort, believe it is a worthy read, and Dravot's brother actually hand-delivered a copy to me at my home. I just think it's too much of a compromise. But, that's just my opinion, and it depends on the person.

Having said that, REKO-F is the next step. It has non-compromise, RA indices. The gain won't be great.
