As most of us know, MGM National Harbor is scheduled to open sometime toward the end of this year just outside DC.

Anybody have insider information on the property? Which month can we expect an opening? How does the property look when driving by? Any longshot chance at a DD 3:2 game being offered?

All I can contribute is an excerpt from a conversation with a manager at Bellagio who said she believed the objective was to open during the month of September.

All the insider info I have indicates it being a signal of the beginning of the end.

There's no 6:5 "blackjack" in Maryland (for now, anyway). Until late last year, all BJ was required by law to be S17 3:2 LS. The casinos successfully lobbied to be allowed to offer H17 games, but there are still a lot of S17 games in Maryland.

I know that the surveillance team will be very bright being that the guy running surveillance there is the former manager of Baltimore Horseshoe.
