How do you backcount two tables?

I'm finding it extremely difficult to correctly keep the count on two tables simultaneously. Once I turn my concentration to one table to count the cards and adjust the running count, I invariably have forgotten the running count on the other table. Any tips?

KJ reads the pips from the ceiling mirrors. Mind you, you need ceiling mirrors for that trick. You'd better have really good eyesight for that one, and a propensity for keeping 2 sets of numbers in your head. A red chip and some whites, (with a .50 cent piece if your inclined to use fractions) would help. Adjust the count by using red for 5 and white for 1. Right hand if positive, left hand with negative - which you shouldn't do f you're vpbackcounting.

And here I thought you were considering installing those mirrors so that she could find another way to look at her collection of shoes.

For those not known as moses, don't even strain your brain to try to figure that one out.

Keep the count for one on fingers in your pocket and other in your head, just remember if positive or negative for pocket pool. You really shouldn't ever have to do this for more than a deck at a time, by that point usually either one will not be worth following anymore and you can start searching for another show about to start in down time or one will be either there or almost and worth your full concentration.

I prefer a stronger count at one table. What are you going to do, hop back and forth between tables? If there's less people at the other table and the count increases while the count is low at yours, then switch. I think you get more of an overall gain out of stronger count, since table hopping is obvious to the pit.
The way I count another table is I inconspicuously peer over and watch one or two hands, and use hi-lo. If the count goes up, I move.

Hire and send someone to the other table and have him call you in case of monster count.

She may respond that she wants new carpet, once she sees the worn carpet in the mirror, or overhand that the walls need painting.

I hope no one is dumb enough to read that post and not question its authenticity. I tried to tell you b4, but it got busted, so I'll be more discrete--I feel the same as you do.

Of course, as we all know, the spotter/BP team play has been dead for many years. But, hypothetically speaking, in a parallel universe where it were still possible to make that play, a spotter who can count two tables at once would be nearly twice as valuable as one who cannot. Just saying.
