I recall the Vegas flyer that answers this question - handed out by the downtrodden. Call 1-869-6969.

So, can I uninstall it and replace it with Win 7 or 8?

Actually, I don't know of any questions I have asked that would bother me, but I am sick of invasive everything. They should have caught me when I was younger

Not sure. What did your computer come with originally? Win 8 and Win 10 are pretty similar. I have Win 7 and my computer came with it. When I went to reinstall Win 7 I had to go back to the manufacturer to get the install disc. If you had Win 7, back up your files and then reinstall Win 7. You should also have some good virus software as well. I have both Windows Defender (free from MS) and Malwarebytes. Between them they keep me pretty well virus free including spyware that monitors everything that you do. My wife's Win 10 machine doesn't let her do anything locally. She has to be on the internet to do most things. That means that she is logged into MS. Guess what? They are watching everything that she does to look for marketing opportunities. Crap and she was on those shoe websites too. Damn!

It came with Win 10. I guess I'll just keep it. I have "Do Not Track Me", virus software, ad block software, malwarebytes, Glary Utilities etc.

Actually on some of the computer blogs or posts, Microsoft has "bamboozled" most. The suggestion of upgrading has a different way to "decline". It's a link in the middle of the post reminder about upgrading. The usual, "x" box to close the window at top right starts the upgrade rather than closing the window/declining. Microsoft is trying HARD to get everyone to upgrade to 10 from 7. So many of you may have inadvertently started the upgrade process WITHOUT realizing it. So I highly suggest that you READ the actual notice on upgrading that you get for anyone who has NOT inadvertently upgraded.

It would be like a casino switching hand signals for hitting to a "hand swipe" above your cards and a stand to "ask you to draw your card back and forth toward you".........LOL "a reversaroo"..........

Sometimes I clique on close the window and things download. Some others won't let you get out of the window or to another window unless you comply. I kill the power to the computer. When it reboots the window is gone. I just hope I saved everything before getting stopped by a window I couldn't leave.

Win 10 + Start10 great combo. Microsoft has already loaded the Win 10 Spyware onto the other OS

My stepdaughter's system updated from Win 7 to 10 while she was in the bathroom yesterday. Yeah - she was in there for a while, but that's a separate issue
