New server

As the old server was past retirement age, we have moved to a new server. Several software packages have also been upgraded to newer versions, including the forum software and underlying software. So, if you encounter any problems, please report them quickly. You should not notice any differences in functionality. The changes were made for performance, security, backup, and reliability reasons. The new server is pretty much indestructible. In theory, it can recover from a bullet through the CPU or motherboard in two minutes.

We appear to be OK. I have unblocked hundreds of thousands of blocked IPs as the security is much better with the new setup. I am still blocking most TOR IPs. But, access from Korea, Taiwan, China, France, some Nordic countries, the U.S., and to a lesser extent other countries should be better.
