Anyone familiar with Tropicana casino in Evansville, IN?

Since there are no big travel plans for me, I am not getting CBJN. So, is anyone familiar with this casino? From my place, this casino is 172 miles. The Harrah casino at Metropolis is also about that distance. Tunica is around 235 miles. I have played in Tunica and Metropolis (no DD games) but not Evansville.

Tunica is tough to get to for a day trip.

So, make it an overnighter - the trip that is, not the masseuse.

Stopped in about a month ago on way back from elsewhere and to another location. Pen wasn't terrible, but wasn't good nor better than average unless you're used to primarily east coast games. Walked out without playing to continue on to find something better.

Not worth driving 3 hrs each way! Trop has all 6D if I recall and table max on the main floor is $500 and 1,000 in HL. I played there a few times and I can tell you that any bets above $150 look out of place. Not to mention that the conditions are very crowded on many nights.

Zee, you're retired now... Forget about day trips man. Start hitting the road for a few nights and go somewhere worth playing! Why the hell would you want travel 172 miles each way, just to specifically play a dump like Trop? With your weak spread and crowded conditions, the EV on that game isn't worth the freaking gas you'd have to put in your car, let alone the time!

Are you playing blackjack to supplement your retirement (like you've openly mentioned a hundred times before), or are you just playing to play? Because if you were actually trying to make money, you wouldn't be messing around with these dumps like Harrah's Metropolis or Evansville Tropicana, when you could simply just drive a bit further and play in Tunica, St Louis, etc.
