Fictitious Boston Attorney Frank Galvin (Paul Newman - January 26, 1925 - September 26, 2008) in The Verdict, 1982, lambasting Trial Judge Hoyle (Milo Donal O'Shea - June 2, 1926 - April 2, 2013) - http://imdb.com/title/tt0084855/
A level-2 and level-3 count immediately come to mind which are dramatically different from any current counts. They actually aren't that complicated for several reasons that I don't want to get into. But, it depends on the exact implementation -- which I strongly believe will not be the same as that in the app if this gets into a major casino. There is a minor sounding rule change that a major casino would make that substantially affects strategy. Still countable though.
Not going to discuss this any more.

Just played it for 5 or 10 minutes. Never paid a dime. Seems free to me.
Norm, were you were likely over-betting your bankroll. You do realize that (according to OP) you can just wait 2 hours and be given more chips to keep playing. Or (like many free games), you can make an in-app purchase.
It'd be like saying this forum isn't free because you have the option to pay! LOL

Got it down to $0 (played as poorly as possible). Says I can buy more chips with real money, or wait 1h 40m for $500 in chips. Gonna throw out a random assumption that in an hour & 40 minutes, it'll give me $500 in chips, free of charge. Not sure why Norm has a problem with any of this, but then again....oh nvm.
As far as the game.....well first of all, it doesn't really "feel" random. Not sure if I ran really good, the app is programmed to let ya win more (i.e.: not realistic), or if I'm just not used to the game and have a feel for how the variance of the game goes. But I seemed to get quite a few 29-31's. I was expecting it to be much more coin-flippy (closer to 50/50 win lose). Didn't feel like that, but, I likely ran good.
As far as the game and fun-ness.....it really doesn't seem that fun to me. And I don't mean because I don't have an advantage or nothing like that.....I'm just not seeing how it's supposed to appeal to players. I understand it's supposed to be very simple and straightforward (and that it is)....but it seems too simple & straightforward.....no thinking to it at all, really.
Might be more fun if you could also choose to fold or bet more after seeing the second card. Of course, you'd have to change around the u18/o23 thing. I think I also prefer the other side bet paytable, where 6/33 pay 500:1 or something like that. Then get rid of the 26 and its reciprocal even money payout, and replace it with something like a 21 is a push on the side bet. Or something along those lines. Hell, could even have 2 community cards used only for the side bet which would pay based on poker hands (or a second side bet.....one that already exists, and another for a 5-card poker hand).
I imagine people would sit down to play it, but, it doesn't seem like there's anything to keep the gamblers in their chairs playing this game for very long.

THIS is what you want to read:
https://apheat.net/2016/05/03/card-counting-overunder/
The app doesn't demand money to continue after a few minutes either (maybe if you play like an idiot and lose it all real fast...or lose it on purpose just so you can yell at someone for not having a free app...). It gives you $500 in chips every 2 hours. I just collected my $500 in chips right now, even though I ran out of chips last night (lost on purpose to see what all this huffing and puffing was about). If you wanna pay money for more services on the game (more chips) then you can.....just like on this forum. It's ridiculous to get all bent out of shape over this. It's free. You know it and I know it.

I'm getting a little tired of being called a liar. That is exactly what it did.
Again, I'm getting a little tired of being called a liar. You have your definition of free and I have mine. You have your definition of ethics, and I have mine. Claiming that I believe something that I don't is what is ridiculous. You are allowed to have an opinion. You are NOT allowed to tell me what my opinion is. If this was ethical, there would not have been successful suits against Apple, GooglePlay and Amazon for this type of bait and switch. They all had to shell out tens of millions for selling "free" apps that cost money.

All I'm saying is -- I haven't paid a single dime for the app, it's been completely free, and I'm still able to play it. If that's not free, then I don't know what is. This website isn't free either, is it?
