once had a lady cut 9 card out of a DD game often having to reshuffle during the hand....she would say, "there gonna kill me upstairs"...to which I replied, "no worries, you have to shuffle anyways"

....forgot to mention the times the PC would tell the dealer to shuffle once I pushed out large bets....yes, well b4 the cut card...one time, count was so high, even the ploppy said, "but all that's left are 10s"...hahaha....

I was playing unrated and was walked out of a Harrah's property (not identified), and off property, on strip and security verbally told me that I was trespassed from all Harrah's nationwide. Although they called me by name, I never confirmed nor denied that was my name. He referred to a backoff I had experienced at another Harrahs on the strip and he was correct. They continued to demand my ID, which I refused. I said nothing and just kept walking until off property, leaving my car in valet until next day.

They have no jurisdiction or ability to trespass anyone in another state! I have actually played rated at a Harrah's property in another state 2 months later and was comped for the room.

They keep this up and I will think they don't like me.

Every time I got trespassed from Harrah's property, my TR account was deactivated. I am surprised you were able to play 2 months later. Did they leave your TR account active after the trespass?

We should probably hear from a lawyer on that. Depending on the corporate structure, and if they've been given authorization from corporate; I don't know how that works. Of course if they can't prove it; they've got a problem.

Yes, it is still active. I think they did not deactivate because I would not confirm my identity so they could not confirm they had the right person.

    That was from Nersesian!

Short answer is that trespass laws are based on property ownership laws and have nothing to do with corporate structure.

However, it does not mean that they couldn't mark your players account (if they are sure they have the correct person) and then trespass you when you arrive. It means they can not have you arrested for violation of the trespass in another state.

If you are in an Indian property then you are legally trespassed by the tribal owners not the operator (Harrahs).

In my experience they usually go through the deck faster than a practiced counter would be able to, too.

I don't look at them or acknowledge what is going on when this happens.

Same here. In my opinion, I doubt most PCs know how to count, so I ignore it when they start sifting through the discards, BUT I do plan a very quick and swift exit shortly afterwards. They're most likely trying to test your reaction though, so it's probably best you don't leave the table immediately. I would play out a few more rounds or another shoe if it's a DD game, then casually leave after that.

add 'immediate shuffle' (irregardless of where the cut card is) as that's happened to me more than once

I handled it a little differently.

A swift walk out the doors jamming 30-some black chips in my pockets.

After winning 2k in one "shoe" on a 2d game I figured I'd blow my gambler cover (if I had any) if I were to return to a min bet to start the next "shoe."

No doubt in my mind they would have stopped me at the cage if I had gone.

According to a couple of downtown casinos in Vegas the next day they had a "hold" on their black chips. Not sure if that was my doing.

Another note, even in the last 2 months cashing out chips at downtown casinos has become increasingly difficult. Most places refusing. Some going as far as using a magnifying glass for inspection. And the D/Golden Gate will just exchange them for their chips. "But you have to play them" Funny how I always break even those "sessions" LOL

It sounds like Vegas is back in the mobs/gangsters hands. There is no other way to describe this behavior by casinos. If gaming is OK with it they are mobsters as well. A cheque/gaming chip has to be honored or they running an illegal scam. It sounds like that is what Vegas is becoming, an illegal scam run and overseen by a lawless gang.
