    Phoenix area current info

Heading to Phoenix shortly - iîmore of a family vacation than blackjack, though will get some play in. My info is telling me Phienix is relatively shitty - better games in 100-200 mile radius.

Anybody willing to share info. Either on me or email to [email protected]

Avoid the cheating, criminally-operated Mazatzal in Payson (about 75 minutes from Phoenix).

A hell of a record doesn't mean anything if they rob you of all your possessions.

In an matter not related to the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, they cheated me personally out of about $10,000. I had no practical recourse.

    I live here. It's all H17.

Note: I'm not a Casino employee, just an AP.

Best pen and wonging is at the Gila River casinos. Few CSM games, mostly shoe. Wild Horse and Butte 2 miles away. $5 min day time.

Casino Arizona: avoid the McKellips one, pen is 55%. Talking Sticks has slightly better pen. $15 min on busy nights. Smoke free BJ in the poker room but only 2 shoe games in that room. Talking Sticks has best night scene.

Fort McDowell is a bit far but only 1 of 2 casinos in the country that lets you hit split aces. $5 min even on busy night which means $10 min tables see little traffic and lots of one on one possible. But very awkward setup.

Payson is the only S17 in the area, bad rep all over. Desert Diamond Weet has a bizarre story behind. No tables yet. Only slots.

Their high stake tables are staggered in alternance with their $5 and $10 tables instead of having a high stake area. On one side it's like:

    $5 table
    $5 table
    $10 table
    Freebet
    $25 table
    $5 table

Other side has a similar mix but with CSMs, Pai Gow, $10 mixed.

It's a flipping mess. That casino is weird. I like weird.

I'm actually here now in Phoenix. Only played 1 store. Will respond privately to locals only to a nice little promo I came across - don't think it's a long term - but I did found it attractive. I'm not going to post details, though I will pm Dog hand to calculate its value.

Actually driving to Laughlin for some shitty blackjack tomorrow, after which we will drive Monday morning to The Grand Canyon. My wife tells me that my plans are also firm for some paddle boat trip later next week. Something tells me that today and tomorrow will be the extent if my BJ this trip.
