Can you be trespassed by mail?

A shop I had played a while back at (and lost heavily at, I might add), sent me a promotion by mail. I accepted via my host and was all set to go, but then I was randomly called by the casino and told that they didn't want my action at all and certainly weren't going to comp me. He said to be expect something in the mail from them. This happened a few months ago and nothing came, but I continue to wonder what could possibly be coming in the mail. To the best of my knowledge, you have to sign a trespass, otherwise how can they prove you had knowledge that you were no longer welcome on property (correct me if I'm wrong, as I've never been trespassed before, only backed off). Any thoughts/advice?

Yes, I have been barred by telephone AND I have been trespassed by registered mail.

Do NOT sign for any registered / certified mail.

I believe for it to legally stand, the mail has to be via registered mail. But, that isn't to say if you show up you wouldn't be arrested. Then again, they may just formally 86 you then and tell you to leave.

Yep, I got the certified letter from Caesars Entertainment. I used the JFK approach and ignored it except at the property and town from which it came.

I know several players who got the 'dear schmuck' letter by registered post. Never happened to me personally but it could.

Any amount. Depends on the Casino Manager's dictates.

Note: Double Deck games, played skillfully, lead to barrings.

I work well on my act and do my best to look like a disheveled degenerate haha!

Hoping this will keep the heat off of me. I even got comped a free lunch the other day, they think I needed it, probably.

But I play red chips and act like a goof, asking the dealer to add up the totals for me.

Let's see how long I can keep this act going without being red carded. And yes, they know who I am.

Red Chippers ~ nobody is going to waste their time watching you closely, unless you're in some tiny rural joint.

However, if betting green chips, surveillance does not care what you look or speak or act like. Understand that.

So what do I do when a floor manager shows up and camps right there so he can see everything I do and calls me by my first name? And the count is really good?

And you know I will eventually start green chipping. That's how an addiction works. Red chipping is a gateway to a riskier behavior.

If you are referring to the Pit Boss, then he is "sending you a message"
If you are referring to a Pit Critter, "not so much".
If you are referring to the Table Games Manager you are toast. Leave,
If you are referring to the Shift Manager you are burnt toast. Flee.

However, when these things happen what you ought to do is obvious ...
You bet the opposite of what you "should" bet and play Basic Strategy.

Then leave. Your addiction must not get in the way. If you go to the cage
your high definition pictures will be taken.
