    At full tables there is no way anyone can play 100 hands per hour. Maybe heads up with the dealer as the only player at the table but you would probably be limited to $100 tables and up.

    Do you keep track of your wins, losses and number of hands played?

    In most cases, it still takes a lifetime to get a reasonable estimate of your expectation.

    I have explained the error of their ways to many martingale players. Most understood the math but had to ride out their streak until they were way in the hole for the sum of their play. A few were smart enough to get out after playing a large negative expectation but still being ahead. It is only a matter of time before the loses stack up. Do you realize what you are doing is more aggressive than a martingale hence it will lose more money when the failures stack up?

    I know a few progression bettors that swear by the prime number sequence of bets. 1,2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37. They play a $5 unit usually at games other than BJ because BJ is so ill-suited to progression betting.

    When I was single I used a slow progressing series of bets at roulette to pick up the hotties. It bet the columns which paid 2:1 and ended the progression when you won 2 in a row. It was something like you bet two 1 unit bets followed by three 2 unit bets then four 3 unit bets and you kept stacking the winnings in chip stacks to extend the progression until you won 2 in a row. It was like watching grass grow but it kept you at the table for a long time in the company of the ladies and usually made a little money. Once in a blue moon the progression failed or really kicked ass but mostly it slowly made money. The more you made the longer the progression lasted until it failed or you quit and headed up to your room with a companion.
