    Single/Double Deck Online Blackjack?

I would like to practice my card counting skills online, but I have not been able to find an online blackjack casino or game where I can do so. Many online blackjack games claim to be double/single deck etc, but in fact the cards are just randomly generated each hand making it pointless to count.

Is there any online games/casinos that offers a true single or double deck blackjack where the cards actually come from a simulated deck and are not just randomly generated, having at least 80% penetration before reshuffle?

Every real money software I have ever encountered shuffles after each round. There might be some out there that don't but I wouldn't hold out hoping to find one. It would be extremely easy to program in counter detection software. Even after beating the casino, you might still have to fight for your money.

Good luck finding that in land based casinos let alone online. I screwed around with online games before clearing bonuses and counting on the live dealer game and it's total crap really. It's usually 4-4.5/8 s17 and the pace is dreadfully slow since there's a button for every command and a 10-15 second action countdown. The resolution is also terrible sometimes even with high speed internet. It's easy to Wong in though. I managed to make like 5k from positive variance and hit a few monster shoes that were like true 4-7, but I really wouldn't recommend it. I did manage to get my money out and some sites have integrity. Don't push it though cause you CAN have your winnings confiscated. Another reason I decided to stop. Take it from someone who plays 3.5/6 games with SCORE of 20-30 in real life, I wouldn't play this.

There are a couple of decent live dealer games. One has 6 decks out of 8 in play. The other has worse penetration but really favourable rules such as ES10 and a .3% rebate on all action.

Blackjackapprentice has pretty good free practice if you are using Hi-Lo; you can choose number of decks and speed.

betvictor and 5dimes, respectively. the 5 dimes game has another favourable rule in one of their games (I think it's called blackjack unlimited or something, it's the one where everyone bets on the same hand but is allowed to make their own betting or playing decisions) that allows you to surrender basic strategy splits for 20%. proper strategy for that rule is to surrender 88 v 9, 88 v 10 and 66 v 2.
