I copy the entire directory from a computer to an other where CVData is already installed.
Sims, strategies and configurations are not copied. All is empty and assistance is back.

2 years ago, I did it without problem.

Search your disk for file ARC.LOG. That's where the files should be copied.

Looks like the way you installed it, it is using the second directory.

C:\users\all Users\qfit\cvdata and c:\programdata\qfit\cvdata are hard linked by the system.
Any change in one is reproduced in the other.

Again a problem with "VirtualStore" of Windows 10 (like with my impossibility to restore an included strategy )
When I delete the directory programdata\qfit it is recreated in
    C:\Users\Philippe\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Progr amdata\qfit\cvdata

    For CVData/CVCX:

    Uninstall CVData
    Delete c:\Program Files(x86)\qfit\cvdata
    Delete c:\ProgramData\qfit\cvdata

    Nothing in the registry matters.

With a new installation, Windows 10 create and use data in
    C:\Users\Philippe\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Progr amdata\qfit\cvdata

PS: Strange, forum add a space between "Progr" and "amdata" ????

When I get time, I'll add a command to CVData to display where Windows puts the data. It does vary by Windows version.
