    MSDOS Programs and Windows 7

I want to load some sim programs on my Windows 7 laptop to take with me for when I go out of town on casino trips. When I tried to load SBA 5.0 (DOS program with Windows interface, I believe) I get "disc not compatible with operating system". I loaded the same disc on my XP desktop machine with no issues. I also have a DOS sim program, Blackjack Vision, that I have not tried to load on the laptop, because it is on a 3.5 inch floppy, that I would like to use if possible. It also loads on XP with no problems. Is there a workaround that would enable me to put one or both programs on my laptop or is that a Microsoft impossibility with Win 7?

If it works w/ xp then you should use XP mode in your win7 machine. This will let you run your win7 machine as if xp is the operating system almost as if its emulating xp to allow it to run xp programs.

Thanks for the tip but the version I have is Windows 7 Home Premium and it does not support hardware assisted virtualization that is necessary to run in XP mode. I am going to try a few tricks to see if I can get the DOS sim to load, and when it doesn't, lol, I think I'm going to get CVCX. It looks like it is just what I need to take on road trips.
