would you give up a high count table if the table is almost full?

Most of my worst losing sessions occurred when I was attempting to join in a table that was almost full, sometimes I managed to bet 2 hands, together with other ppl's 4 to 5 hands.

Would you attempt to bet the max bet in this situations or would you just give it up because the table is almost full. And my local casino only offer 8 decks game which is not that helpful either.

If you're already seated with a monster count, I couldn't imagine leaving the table just because there were 3-4 other spots being played. Why would YOU leave such an opportunity?

Never leave a table with an advantage. If your mom dies, wait until you have lost your advantage to go to her funeral.

If you have a high TC, you have the advantage no matter how many players are there.
Bet multiple hands to get as many of the cards as you can. Bet the correct amount based on the count.
Once the count is no longer in your advantage, find a better table because the extra players slow the game and reduce your hourly EV.
If you are losing, it's not because of the other players.

    Yes, time after time.

Friends don't let friends play 8 decks with more than 2 decks cut off and/or no surrender!

Variance is very high even with the better conditions!
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

I don't know the right answer. But I know a casino. They instruct dealers to cut 5.5D/6D on full table but 4.5D/6D if head to head or only two people.

I do too. Actually, there are two notches on the shoe. One to cut off about 26 cards and one to cut off about 1.25 deck off. However, I have seen the dealer make the decision which one to use. Usually, if someone places big bets or has won a lot, they might switch to the lesser cut.

I’d never leave during a positive count - they’re too rare to give one up!

When table gets crowded or other poor conditions happen, I bail out as soon as I see a negative count, or maybe sooner.

Your biggest losing streaks will occur when the count is high, so your experience seems normal to me.
