    Burning in Vegas

I have been reading this forum on and off for a while. I have casinio verite and have become competent at it. Not sure if I should post the following or not but....
Planned a 4 day trip to Vegas. Last year I was there and got pushed back at TI and then moved to flat bet status as NY-NY. I arrive Wednesday evening and played for about 2 hrs. with decent results. Then Thursday afternoon all hell broke lose. Decided to go back to NY-NY and see. Played about 30 minutes at a 25-DD table, max bets no more than 100. Floor pushed me back and told me no more BJ in any form. Of course I could spend/lose my money at any other game or slots. Cashed out and left. Went over to MGM, played for 40 minutes and left just barely ahead. PH for about 20 minutes, 25-DD. max bet when count high, hit BJ, and I shouted something like Yes finally or something like that. About 3 minutes later casino manger came over with 2 guards and execute a 86 on me. Guard escorted me to the cage. Cage asked for my ID, I refused. The guard said something like its ok we already have his info. Also I think I heard the Casino Manager say my name was ..... I did not register at that point so I am unclear as to how they obtained that information. Went to Paris. Played 5 minutes and guard came up behind and asked me to step back. Informed me that I was in violation of a no trespass, asked for my ID, I refused. Went to cage and cashed out. On the way out the door he informed me that I would be arrested if I was caught on ANY Caesar's properties. Mirage late Thursday. Played about an hour and then was informed I was being placed on flat bet status. In all cases I was not winning a lot. I guess at this point I should just burn down all of the casino, maximize my profit and never return. Has anyone challenged the obviously bogus no trespass deal? Also it seems apparent that the casinos share information in order to maximize profits. Any comments along those lines?

Your story would be more believable if you said you spread $25 to $175, or $100 to $400. Playing $25 to $100 spread won't get you 86ed in the Strip.

Also you probably need to spread 10 to 1 in Caesar's properties to have advantage because of bad rules in DD there.

The story is perfectly believable, being penned by an inexperienced amateur.

The O.P. had been operating under the delusion that Las Vegas is a good place to play.

He made the mistake of imagining that if he played "by the book" they would permit him

his (mid-level) predations. With the risk of citing this too often, I will repeat myself:

"Counting Cards is Easy. Winning Money is Hard."

I was told that I may not play BJ after 40 minutes playing the DD game spreading just 1-4 while the other guy and GF were betting $100 to $200, and after I had won just $400 and that too, only because of just a couple of hands involving splits and DD. At NYNY.

you can indeed get backed off on the strip playing low greens.

TI and NYNY are two of the most ridiculous sweatshops on the Strip, even at tiny stakes.

The widespread belief among casino employees that a single trespass is effective at other locations owned by different corporations that are in turn owned by the same corporate "parent" is presently being litigated in Nevada.

Zee - you need an act. Consider picking up drinking (for real). No way you're getting bounced at a 1-4 spread if your a "tourist" in Vegas.

1-4 will get BO .it has been done to so many .Some with good act and cover but ridiculous spread are also BO. I would pick my opponent carefully ,LV is not a great place to play even though it has many "good" games. I would want to fully prepare myself before I even step foot on to LV.

Guys, DD is the top card counting trap in Las Vegas. Most people in OSN from strip properties got there with DD!

Stealth is 100% correct. Not less.

BUT, there are excellent 6 deck shoe games.

I was just there about a month back and had no trouble at the 6 deck games playing green, ZenMaster is correct along with Stealth, DD is a trap. I still played some DD 1-8 just NOT at T.I. or Aria

You can play some small spread green DD at local properties off the strip if you are careful and use short sessions.

    Footnote to Stealth's post #11

Make that VERY "careful" and VERY "short".

At the Green Level they WILL sweat you.

it varies from joint to joint off strip, some pit bosses are like stone face and watch every tiny move, others are totally fine, I played quite some time there but my max bet was just 2 to 3 green at most. Most of the joints I went to I received no heat at all. Just one quick q, who will come to get you first, is it that Pit boss will call the surveillance, or the other way around that the surveillance will call the pit boss to report a counter, cuz I always keep an eye on the pitboss and make sure he/she is not watching me closely or picking up the phone, as I assume he is the first one to become suspicious and start to rattle, if anyone can share some procedure on how the casino works, it will be really helpful. thanks!
