    CVBJ Color Key Question

What does the color key in the split section of the playing strategy with "split < value" means. I know the sign means less than the value. Suppose if the index said split < 4. What I don't understand is what should I do when the count is at 4?

If you're speaking about 8,8 vs. 10, then if you don't split, you stand on your 16. If it's some other pair, do whatever you would do if the total were comprised of two non-pair cards that made up the hand.

If it says split <4, you would split up to 3 but not at 4 or above.
