Any chance of adding TKO (unbalanced true count) as a playing strategy in CVBJ? Maybe the next update?

Thanks for the email. I read your email. Just to clear up one thing in the book "The Color of Blackjack". He did mention in page 18 "Proof". The edge numbers on the chart, .5% and 2.0%, are pure true count advantages. From them you must subtract the House edge determined by the game rules. If the game has a House edge of -0.3%, then the Warm Line player advantage is +0.2% and the Hot advantage is +1.7%. In a bad game, House edge of -0.7%, the Warm Line is -0.2%. In that case you must wait to increase your bet until the RC moves slightly past the Warm Line.

Yes , you are right , I was wrong , it is in there ;
the thing that threw me off as a NEW player / why I forgot about it / I read him repeat the " all you have to do is remember the warm line numbers of 9, 12, 15, 18,21, and hot 24 "
I kept wondering , "why does he say that? what's the big deal with 9 ? what am I missing about this 9 ? "
The 9 comes up over and over ...
Every single 6 deck chart in the book , begins warm with the number 9 .
I thought I was missing something special about it ... but it's just HIS particular game . I was a new player though ... I'm sure , someone playing for years would just laugh at me , but , yeah ... And decided just to break out the pen , paper, calculator and forget the book and make my own formula and math that beats my games and put the book on the shelf...
looking back I always thought it would've been easier to start the book with the PROOF chart , explain the breakdown , / formula / THEN explain his game .
He starts off explaining HIS game , then one page devoted to (mixed in with the misleading sentence repeating the 9 ) how to plug in your game .

I read the attached KO indexes for six deck you sent me. I am guessing the indices was from Jame's Grosjean "Beyond Counting". The indices are EV Max indices. I would prefer using risk averse indices. For that said I would recommend Norm's REKO-F Six Deck Indices over the one in "Beyond Counting". Those indices are published in Modern Blackjack.

Bingo - the best way to approach TKO is to understand the true-count formula for the unbalanced count and then make your own charts/ramps for each game (2 deck, 6 deck 8 deck). In my view, the compelling advantage of TKO over Hi-Lo is that you always know where TC of +4 is ("the pivot point"). It's always a fixed point in your ramp. Also, TKO beats Hi-Lo by a smidge in overall performance. I was just hoping that the CVBJ product would incorporate this capability so I could practice a little more efficiently. Right now I'm using KO as the playing strategy and making my own adjustments for TKO (so I keep getting dinged by the error messages due to departures from KO). Thanks for your input...
