    Dealer's Avertage Hand

I was taken to task for stating that the average dealer hand
is "about 19" by someone (here) who claimed that it was 18.1

THIS is from The Wizard of Odds:

Average Dealer Hand is 18.8 for S17 games or 18.9 for H17 games.

I would chastise Tarzan for his misspelling, but on "avertage" he is
quite literate, and it would be considered "
mean" of me to do so.

    ZMF,

Especially since that is the way you spelled that term in the subject line for this thread, "Dealer's Avertage Hand".

I was the official spelling bee champion back in grade school with all the trappings of being a spelling bee champion poster child kind of guy. Should you ever see me misspelling anything chastise away!

I think I read somewhere the average winning hand (for players?) is 18.3. Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong, I don't remember the source.

The median dealer hand would definitely not be that strong if you took into account busts ?!? Depends on how many players on the table.
I.... feel so right doing the Wong thing!!! 9-5! 9-5! 9-5! Every king that screws her makes me feel alive!!

Did the person who dropped that tidbit also say that "a push is a win"?
May the cards fall in your favor.

Are you implying a mean regression?
