The most amusing (or perplexing) thing is the profound magnitude of a person's narcissism,

that is so extreme that he cannot admit to the fact that's been endorsed by the consensus.

He must believe that he is infallible - intellectually superior to mathematicians (and all of us)

I personally find the term 'hubris' more fitting. However, to be fair, it is probably hard to let go of the idea you believe to be the next big thing. What you don't want to hear is that you're wrong. What you want is vindication and glory.

The problem with stupidity like this is that, if the sim told him that he had a wonderful system, instead of concluding that the sim was horseshit, he'd conclude that he was right. Sims don't serve much purpose for things like this. If the sim says you're right, the intelligent person would look for the flaw in the sim, while the gullible would conclude that he had turned straw into gold.

Everyone has pointed out to Picasso that progression systems don't work and he understands that. He wants someone to run a sim for him and he's willing to pay for it. I say, run the sim for him.

Come, come, dharmaprija... no need to get all pissy!

Norm uses this color to let the reader subconsciously know, "You're in for a load of crap on these pages..." On second thought, it's a good thing he didn't choose brown!

Picasso, I noticed your avatar. Would you be an aficionado of Henri, the famous Le Chat Noir.

    Picasso:
If you really believe in your "system", then why not put it out there (subscription pages/forum) and not the free forum and I bet that there will be guys here that would run it on Norm's software or any other that they have as a service for you. Free (or at nominal charge for time) and you can get input without even going to the expense of paying any MIT math students or professor. And if that initial simulation supports you, THEN take it, for further study. I really think there are some math guys here that love solving (or "dissolving") systems. It might give you some better insight.

I have decided to wait, I will retire in less than two years, it will become a pet project. I will not let just anyone over the internet sim it for me; I’ll be needing confidentiality papers. My system makes money for me, I've made thousands of dollars just playing online (microgamming, playtech, Espace Jeux in Québec where I live) and getting the bonus to booth! My system works like a logarithm, if this happens you do that, if that happens you do that etc. There is no counting cards, but one must be somewhat vigilant. There is a bankroll that appears to be fairly high (1$ table needs at least 800$ to play comfortably), but one can find cheap tables online (especially if you play with a weak currency!). I presently have NOTHING TO SELL, so no need to panic. Most will say «it cannot be done», I have no argument for them just now, only money in the bank.

Your suggestion MJGOLF is a good one, I'll take it to a local college and run a sim, and if the results are promising, then take it to M.I.T. The sim will need to be done with different parameters (min vs max bet tables, different betting increments etc) because I really don't fully understand all the details of why it works (when I break it down), but I fully understand the logic behind it. The «system» as you call it is the fruit of years of theory and practice. I have given it a name but not officially yet: to be called «Synchronicity (or Feng Shui) Blackjack» after Jung's synchronicity concept. For those with an open mind, wish me luck and understanding.

My mind is not gullible or as you would say open. But good luck.
