Is American Casino Guide a useful guide for Community Poker?

American Casino Guide has strategy on how to play video poker and blackjack. It also list information about slot tournaments and slot machines. It list almost all games being offered in each casino. It give information about craps, baccarat and roulette but I don't see information about community poker (No limit Texas Hold'em) or stud poker like 5 card and 7 card stud poker. It does talk a little about Three Card Poker and Caribbean Stud but that is not information a poker player would look for. How will the American Casino Guide be of any use to a professional poker player?

The only way I think it might be useful to the poker are the coupons. The coupon in American Casino Guide could sometime be used to pay for poker. For example, "Receive $60 in poker chips for $50 dollars." Might be an advantage to have there but there isn't a lot of those coupons in American Casino Guide. A poker might use the free slot coupon offers in American Casino Guide to pay for poker. For example, "$5 free slot play". A poker player might use the winning money from the offer to play poker.

I think it's best to just call the poker room for the casino you want to play in and go from there. 2 + 2 seems like a good forum for poker players, http://www.twoplustwo.com/. All any good poker player needs is an empty seat at the table.

The coupons in the book will more than pay for the price of the book. I also highly recommend the American Casino Guide app. when you're driving around in the middle of nowhere it's great to be able to pull up the nearby casinos and push one button to navigate to one.

I used to have a similar app that was for poker. It showed all poker games within a certain distance. I think it was called Poker anywhere but not sure.

Bravo Poker Live does this for card rooms using the Bravo system, which is a lot of them.

I have never had much success with the American Casino Guide app. It crashes every time I try to use it. I have the latest version of the app, and iOS 8.1, and had similar problems with older versions of iOS and on my previous phone. I've heard others suggest this app before, so maybe I'm the only one with problems. It seems useful if it would work.
