Anyone know if this a sweat shop or can I bang away? Thanks

I literally only got to play 4 hands after seating down...has been THE most sweatiest joint i've ever played at.

    That's funny!
Was it the DD game and you raised your bet almost immediately, or did they recognize you from the past?

Even if it weren't a sweat shop, you should never play where you stay.
The irony of this is, casinos know counters never stay where they play and this is based off which clothes they wear to the casinos. If you wear shorts and t-shirt on a cold winter day, they assume you are staying at the hotel and that counters never stay where they play. Interesting the irony right?

I also hope every poster here realizes that when they ask for specific conditions on a store, that there will be posters who will most of the time lie to you because of a great game being offered their as to not burn it out. An OP should always be wary about responses in their threads about certain stores. Some people here say sweaty when in fact it could be a great game, the best thing you can do is always scout the games yourselves and take everyone's opinion with a grain of salt. In other words don't believe anyone unless you have a decent in-person relationship with them already established.

TI is a sweatshop, I doubt you'd last more than 30 minutes, even on the shoe games. They look for any sign of bet movement that coincides with the count and immediately backs off players, even with incomplete information. They just don't want to gamble.

Other places to avoid at any stakes for blackjack
Cosmo, Aria, SLS, Monte Carlo, NYNY, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Southpoint

You should be ok everywhere else with reasonable precautions and as long as your action blends in. That means, as an example, don't go to Boulder Station and expect to play double deck spreading 2x$50 to 2x$500 and not get backed off on the second shuffle after you bet it up. There is really no place in Vegas anymore that will let you just sit there and bomb away for hours at a time. Stick and move my friend.

And yet, I played it twice on 1 trip without incident. Mind you, they did hound me for a card.

Freightman, I hope you are doing well. I always enjoyed your contributions on Wongs site over the years.

I have never had any problem at the aria but always kept it under 1 hr and my max bet was 500 / 2x300...I don't know if you'd want to push those.

Another monsters-under-the-bed thread. Just don't play anywhere, OK?
