    Resetting canned strategies in CVCX/CVData

While creating a blank high-low strategy last week I accidentally erased all the indices for Stanford Wong's Old Complete High-Low. Pressing restore doesn't appear to do anything.

It's not vital that I restore it back to it's original playing strategy, but I would prefer it if possible.

Did you click on the strategy you wanted to restore before clicking on Restore?

Yes, a prompt came up asking if I was sure I wanted to restore 'Old Complete High-Low'. After I press ok and look at the tables I seem to still be missing all the indices.

Do you have any of the index restrictions set? In any case, a backup copy is kept and I can give you instructions to replace it.

If by index restriction set, you mean the check boxes such as I18, fab4, etc., no. I have 'Full Indexes' checked.

How about the index-range options. Go to Tools-Export, create an export file and e-mail it.

    Copy

    c:\Program Files (x86)\QFIT\CVData\USP31.DAT

    to

    c:\ProgramData\QFIT\CVData\USP31.DAT

If you can’t find the ProgramData directory:

    a. Start Button
    b. Control Panel
    c. Click on Appearance and Personalization
    d. Click on Folder Options
    e. Go to the tab View
    f. Check “Hidden files and folders: Show all files and folders”
    g. Click “OK”.

Thanks, that fixed everything. I know I say thanks a lot, but I really do appreciate the effort you put in to support users of both this site and your software.
