    Identity theft

Be it known that someone is using my registered DBA and trademark (QFIT) to post on another forum pretending to be me.

Normally, one must attain the stature of a legendary "Honest Abe" Lincoln or an Erik "Houdini" Weisz for people to adopt their "handles." I have not seen the posts you are talking about, but I trust we are not talking about the adulation of an avid fan.

Please don't take this the wrong way, Norm. But why do you read that forum? Are you learning any AP moves over there?

Moo, I have no choice. They are using my real name, hundreds of times, to post that I am a pedophile, terrorist partly responsible for 9/11, mass murderer, I defraud my customers, turn players into casinos, make money by hiding the “truth” about Ebola, and on and on. This is coming up on two years now. People use Google to look up prospective clients. I am the only person with my name in the country. Would you hire a pedophile? They are also personally harrassing me. Hacking my VBulletin account. Telling insane conspiracy nuts to contact me. Death threats. Three extortion attempts. Further, they are violating both my copyrights and trademark. Under the law, if you do not defend IP rights, you can lose them. One must do what one can to defend themselves and their family from evil. Frankly, I can't understand why anyone supports such an evil site by posting there.

I've not visited that site but why would they have that much hatred for you? More than one person?

Before me, it was Ken Smith. And, they have restarted their attacks against Ken even though it's been something like three years since he shut off his forum. If I shut down, they'll likely turn their hatred on someone else. Two of them said "site wars are fun". That's just plain sick.

They are not men. They are evil weasels that have to form a gang to feel like men. They have no concept what being a man means. Usually the weak and cowardly do these types of things to feel strong or courageous. It is basic psychology. The rub is that only other weak, cowardly people do not see this as weak and cowardly. They see the world as a reflection of themselves (as does everyone else) and they do them same to compensate for their shortcomings so cowardly behavior seems courageous to them. A real man is capable of acting from a position of power and destruction but only does so when all else fails. A real man doesn't do that for sport. That is what you call a bully and bullies are almost always cowards and/or people that lack the skills to deal with situations like a man so they act like an animal.

Wow! I've not met you but I've known Ken Smith for a lot of years and played in several tournaments (same table a few times) with him at the Stardust, Frontier, Riviera, etc. in LV and also at the Grand in Tunica.
I've ALWAYS known him to be a top shelf guy. Besides his knowledge, he's always been very pleasant to be around. Makes it hard to figure this out.

Do you remember when you were a child how sometimes when you were corrected you became angry and resentful? Do you remember ever thinking as a child that you had been unfairly treated? Did you ever think, "They'll be sorry!" referring to parents, or teachers, or other authority figures? Well, a forum operator is a kind of authority figure. He fashions rules of conduct that he feels will give the best face to his forum, but some naturally will disagree with those rules. Some adults may act immaturely at times, especially when they feel they have been unfairly reprimanded or even banned. Others may not even possess the conscience that they should to obey the rules because of their upbringing or life experiences. Whatever the reason, when adults act in childish ways, its a kind of regression to that child ego state. Most get over it, but some will not relent. It can be like road rage. If you are not able to control your feelings when you feel someone was discourteous to you or cut you off, this simple reflex action of anger may mushroom into the makings of a serious accident. Small things can cause much larger, serious problems. I wonder how many lives have been lost on the highway because some driver felt offended, rightly or wrongly, causing a small thing to obtain grave consequences? That is how I feel about the present situation. The response for being banned has become disproportionate. If it does not stop, someone may get hurt. No one in their heart of hearts wants this to happen. Those who are keeping this going need to reexamine their actions and admit to themselves that this has gone far enough. There is nothing further to be gained, only childish glee at another's misfortune. Adulthood is not something that comes with age, it comes with effort. Now I am a target for saying so, but it's the truth.

I've had posters threaten to cut my head off and gay rape me. It's the internet. I don't see any point in reading it. Who the hell cares what people are saying? Unless you're planning to take action and you need to document it, I just don't see why you want to put yourself through the aggravation.

Again, he is using my REAL NAME on a public forum. I need to know what people read on Google about me. I live and work in the real world outside of this forum.
