You build a rapport with folks in your area. Ask on this board. Some will let you know where they are. Do some research in the archives on CO posts or playing conditions. Join, so you can PM.

But one thing you cannot do is in your very FIRST post..........expect anyone to tell you they are an AP in your area. Sorry.......just sayin'

Think about switching gears to poker. That game requires less of a bankroll.

To Villiam: MJ summed it up. Hang around this board. Give input when you can. Eventually you will gain a couple of contacts.

Funny note related to original topic:
I know a guy who once posted on Craigslist to find players for his team.

Not sure if he got any responses but I do not believe anyone from that site ended up playing for him.

Last I heard his team isn't doing so hot.

You can find them at the casino...if you can't recognize a counter in short order...no offense, but you do not know what you are doing....having said that, I play all over the country and have came across less than a handful of APs that I would give a dime to....of course, that is based solely on AP skills, still have to vet for $, trust, issues (drugs especially)....I, personally have no desire or need to meet or team up with any AP period...no need or desire

nobody is going to invest in someone's card counting because the danger of getting scammed is just way too high. but hey, if anyone wants to put me back in action, shoot me a PM

Oh, I've seen a couple. They are rare sightings though. I think in an ideal world that we could all benefit from partnerships for investing in and building bankrolls but I completely get Sharky's point here. It would be irresponsible to be anything but the low-stakes player that I am given my situation, thus the desire to partner up. But really, all I want to do is meet Zengrifter and then I can die. I've also learned that there's probably no more important exercise than my own personal grind so maybe the desire to instantly rise to another level is wrong-headed. There's part of me that wants to transcend my current class of insane levels of practice and play with minimal risk and small results. Maybe there's some advice people could provide about my thoughts here. Overcoming fear, moving up in stakes, justifying and optimizing certain >kelly risks over time... Voodoo, that last statement, I know.
I guess I just need to start putting in some serious hours, but we all know how much more beneficial it is to hit and quit than to hang out forever... I know I have to ability to stay focused over long hauls so this may just be my path and I may just have to LIKE it! BTW, my stores all have 100$ betting limits so I won't be transcending anything until I am willing to move around a bit. And that's fine bc my current max is $35! All right enough me talk: any thoughts on your own personal development and challenges you found paths thru would be appreciated...

with such low max, mins must be small, too...if min is $1....spread 1-40 - guarantee won't raise an eyebrow...and see how you fare...I do not know your rules, so can't offer ramp, but, generally, even space $6 per true count advantage up to +7...GOOD LUCK
